Meet the Beaver family! They are a beautiful family of three who I loved having in front of my camera last month. When they contacted me they wanted to plan for a life as we know it session, in their favourite neighbourhood park that they frequently visit together several times per week. My favourite part of being a photographer is capturing others in a documentary and true way. For this family, we captured the essence of their regular routine in one of their very favourite spots. These images are cherished by them now and will certainly be cherished by them in the years to come. If you and your family have a favourite spot or special rituals that you love to do together, I would love to document it for you. The everyday moments are the ones we should want to remember. The days we will look back on down the road and miss.

This is another Life As We Know It Session with the lovely Caverly family that I just happen to adore. How lucky am I? I always love catching up with this beautiful family and seeing how their littles have grown. I am always excited to keep updating their family photography collection and look forward to visiting their perfectly decorated home.
Mama has a serious eye for decorating and styling. Seeing my images all over their walls on display is just icing on the cake. There is no better feeling as a photographer (in my eyes) then walking into a home and seeing your art on display for all to see. It makes my heart beat double time and my soul sing. My favourite thing about the Caverly’s is how much mom and dad adore their children. Their sessions with Niche started when Cindy and Ryan were expecting their second child, Hendrix. Hendrix is now over a year and is completely adored by all who meet smiley him, especially his big sister Kali. They keep creating beautiful children and I love that I am the one that gets to help them tell their share and remember their story and their love. I admire their Mama bear; Cindy, so much. She has such a calm and positive demeanor about her (which is probably why she makes such an amazing mom and teacher) and I look up to her parenting skills and ways.
For this session, we met at their home, headed out to their backyard to take some shots (to change it up from their last session which was all indoors) and then headed to the Collins Bay Marina, which is a short trip from their home where they frequently visit to watch the sailboats. Thank you guys, for putting your trust in me over the last few years and allowing me to come into your home and share your family story. I am grateful to be included and to share your story.
